I've been using ljArchive for my journals.

Edited to add:

I got REALLY paranoid about my journal sometime in October when I attended a presentation by the University Archivist.

So what I do is:

1. Download journal and comments through ljArchive.
2. Export as HTML per year.
3. Convert HTML to PDF.
4. Burn PDF to CD.
5. Upload PDF to Lulu.com
6. When I have enough money, I get a year of my journal printed as a book.
