This was another recipe clipped from a magazine (probably Good Housekeeping or Parents) because it looked easy, quick, and tasty. I can't find it online anywhere and the recipe is at home.

Ingredient list: spicy italian sausage, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, onion, garlic, fennel seeds, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, plum tomatoes, cream, and linguine.

I substituted in andouille sausage from a local butcher and fat free half and half since that's what I had handy. Marc was hanging around the kitchen because it smelled so good and we almost had a fight over leftovers this morning.

I think I'll be doing a double batch of this for our next D&D game and serve it with herbed salad and garlic bread.

Next time I think I may use less sausage and more peppers. The veggie to meat balance was not quite there for my tastes.
