Birthday Presents

littleweedsI wanted to get something for my step-dad that wouldn't permanently hang around their house. With four adults, three dogs, and 1.5 kids, space is at a premium.
Last night I let the Grand Duchess pick out a card and some stickers for him. Today I hit a natural food and gourmet grocery store. I bought gooseberry preserves, maple vanilla pear butter, and a pecan tart for the actual present. Yummy stuff he doesn't have to cook to use and wouldn't likely buy for himself.
I'm now trying to figure out how to get invited over for brunch Saturday so I can try the gooseberry preserves.
